Great food and service! Love how they renovated and salvaged an old building. It’s an old building, so the floors are uneven. The food was outstanding. We recommend the pulled pork, collard greens, fries and Brunswick stew. The chicken was good but the pulled pork was better. The burgers were big and nice. Friendly staff who gave great tips about local spots and trails. Definitely a must stop by if you’re in the area.
I don't know if it's because I just came off the trail to hide from a storm but I think I really did have the best brisket sammie I've ever had. The people were amazing and the food was perfect! I drooled looking at someone else's burger in between being distracted by melt in your mouth brisket dipped in some hot bbq sauce. Go there.
This store is smack outside of Suches in the middle of nowhere off of 60. The staff is always friendly and they have plenty of tables inside and out so you can enjoy a meal with friends or family after a trail hike or ride wotj your motorcycle buddies. Their menu changed from last time I was in but they still have great burgers and amazing pulled pork (it's very tender). There are no combo prices so if you buy a burger and a side, add the 3 bucks to your total plus a drink. That being said, this isn't a McDonald's in some crowded city... you have nothing but nature around you when you're here so the pricing isn't bad when you consider where you're at and what you get (a lot of food). Their burgers are a half pound patty with great bread that doesn't fall apart. The store also has a few things you can buy for personal use in case you need anything from a hike (pants, shirts, etc). Great spot with fresh food and nice staff... that's all I ever ask for and Wildcat delivers on all of that. Nicely done!
We stopped by after staying at the Getaway Cabins nearby. I have always been a fan and craving good old Southern BBQ. The brisket was absolutely amazing. It was so tender and a juicy piece of meat! The BBQ sauces they offer to dip with your meal are perfect. Owners are friendly, helpful, offer suggestions if you aren’t sure, and talkative to everyone, regardless if you are a local or from out of town! They have such a cute, friendly dog to greet customers outside! She was so sweet and made eating your meal outside much more enjoyable. Sweet tea was good too! A great BBQ spot for the locals but highly recommend for anyone coming to visit the town for cabins or vacation to visit this local restaurant. I wish they had a location here in Atlanta!
We loved the BBQ!!! People were really nice as well. Pulled Pork and brisket are awesome along with the fries and beans. Love it. Plus the ride to it was great!!!
Loved this place! Had the brisket & rib platter with a side of bbq beans. SO good. Also tried the wings, chopped chicken, and fried okra. Anything that you get here will not disappoint. I will definitely return!
My first time visiting here and I’ll have to say it will not be my last time. I really enjoyed it. Everything was outstanding. I had a smoke turkey sandwich with lettuce and tomato and I brought home a half a pound of barbecue, which is so tender, and I also purchased one of the banana bread mini pound cakes and that was excellent if you’re out this way, you’ve got to stop by recommend one and all
This is a Must Stop for those that love great BBQ!! The bbq pork is so tender and favorable, the smoke turkey is perfect! The staff are very welcoming I couldn’t have enjoyed my visit any better. Whether you choose to eat inside or outside you will find everything very accommodating. Plenty of parking!
